I’ve realised that my business superpower is sunshine. 

What does this actually mean? 

My career has spanned over 20 years, working in Marketing Consultancy, Retail Design and Strategic Planning. During this time, I’ve had the great pleasure of coaching some wonderful Leaders and Managers, helping them with their personal and professional journeys. All these experiences have taught me the power that positivity and authenticity can have on others around you, and the impact it can have on their work, their career, and their world.

So not only do I get things done and achieve outstanding results, but I do this in my own individual way. My unique blend of positivity,  fun, warmth, and care, has allowed me to build brilliant teams who achieve incredible things, all while bringing out the best in people.

Can anyone be sunshine all the time? Whilst a sunny disposition is my natural state, it is through self awareness and resilience that I have learnt how to maintain this in challenging situations. It isn’t just about being a "nice person", it is my superpower; allowing me to put people at ease and build their trust, letting me be non-threatening in tough situations, and helping me build authentic, lasting relationships. 

It has taken me a long time to understand and recognise that you have to be open, and embrace vulnerability. This allows real connection, and for me to focus on the needs of other people and their business goals, I set up The Sunshine Consultancy to help others recognise their superpower, achieve their desired goals, and have fun and excitement while doing it.
